Our much loved mother's grandmother, Ada, was the inspiration for our brand name: NONNA ADA. Born in 1913 in a lovely Tuscan village, Ada was a woman with a passion for cooking and a special talent for creating delicious biscuits called 'Biscottoni'.
Nonna Ada did not have many secrets, she always said that the real key to perfection was the use of genuine, high quality ingredients, coming directly from her native Tuscany. Every day, she baked biscuits and prepared snacks for her grandchildren. Her kitchen always emanated a welcoming smell of freshly baked cakes, creating an atmosphere of warmth and love.
Marco and Luca were fascinated by Nonna Ada's skills. Every time they visited her, it was a feast of sweets and joy. They would spend hours in the kitchen with her, carefully observing each step of preparation and learning the secrets of those unique recipes. Nonna Ada has passed on her passion until the venerable age of 95.
